应用SSNTDs测量14MeV中子通量

Measurement of 14 MeV neutron fluences using SSNTDs

摘要 采用国产CSR(China Shanghai Resin)和聚碳酸酯塑料片作为探测器,聚乙烯塑料膜和天然铀层作为辐射体,以内外辐射型分别测量了10~6—10^(11)n/cm^2范围内14MeV中子通量。研究表明,CSR探测器能成功地探测5×10~7—6×10^(10)n/cm^2范围内快中子通量。CSR探测器的平均探测效率为2.88×10^(-5)径迹/中子;CSR和聚乙烯反冲质子辐射体组合探测器探测中子的平均效率为3.32×10^(-5)径迹/中子。聚碳酸酯和天然铀辐射体组合探测器测量14MeV中子通量在2.5×10~7—5.0×10^(10)n/cm^2范围内,其探测中子的平均效率为1.75×l0^(-6)径迹/中子。 CSR and polycarbanate (PC) track detectors ha-ve been used for measuring fast neutron fluences ranging from 106 to 1011n/cm2. A comparative study of two different modes (the internal and external radiator) of fast neutron measurements based on SSNTDs is presented. Results show that the CSR plastic detector can be used successfully for detecting 14 MeV neutron fluences in the range from 5×107 to 6×1010n/cm2. The detection efficiency of the CSR is on the average 2.88×10-5 tracks per neutron and the CSR with polyethylene(PE) radiator is 3.32×10-5 tracks/a The detection efficiency of the PC detector with a thin layer of uranium is 1.75 × 10-6 tracks/n for detecting fast neutron fluences in the range from 2.5×107 to 5×1010n/cm2.
