摘要
报道包头矿的穆斯堡尔谱研究结果,其谱图系由两组四极双峰组成。A双峰是反映钛氧八面体中的Fe^(3+),而B双峰则反映钛氧八面体中的Fe^(2+)。Fe^(3+)/Fe^(2+)=1.32。结果表明:Fe^(3+)与Fe^(2+)同时存在于钛氧八面体晶位中,并与Ti呈类质同象。其中钛氧八面体的畸变特征类似于金红石的钛氧八面体。
Baotite , first discovered in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China and afterwards reported in Montana, U. S. A. , is a kind of tetracyclic Ba - Ti - Nb silicate and has low content of Fe (Fe2O3<3%). The first report on its 57Fe Mossbauer spectrum is given in the paper . Two sets of quadrupole doublets are obtained from the spectrum. The A doublets is attributed to Fe3+ and the B doublet reflects Fe2+ in the Ti -O octahedra. Fe3+/Fe2+ = l. 32. The spectrum indicates that; (l)both Fe3+ and Fe2+ are present in baotite; (2)Fe3+ and Fe2+ exist as isomorphism in the octahedra; (3)the titanium octahedron is somewhat distorted, which is similar to the case of rutile; and (4)there may be a complicated structure in baotite crystal.
