On shift of persons in the translation of The Poetic Realm

古诗中的人称在今译和英译时应该随着表达的需要而发生变化。今译作为语内翻译和英译作为语际翻译 ,在人称的处理上会有所不同 ,但都是原诗隐含的人称在不同程度上、不同方向上的合理的彰显。

Translation of classical Chinese poetry, either into modern Chinese or into English, entails a shift of persons. Although differences between intra-lingual translation and inter-lingual translation could be found out in this regard, what is common is that all shifts of persons in translation are based on the potential use of persons hidden in the original text.
