摘要
在XP型销-盘摩擦磨损试验机上考察了二聚酸3-氯-2-羟基丙单酯对钢-钢摩擦副的磨损自补偿效应,用ImageView数字化图像处理系统及傅立叶转换红外光谱仪观察磨损表面形貌并分析其化学特性,探讨了二聚酸3-氯-2-羟基丙单酯的磨损自补偿机理.结果表明:二聚酸3-氯-2-羟基丙单酯使钢/钢摩擦副发生负磨损,表现出优异的磨损自补偿效应;其原因在于摩擦副磨损表面形成了软质酯类聚合物保护膜.
The wear-self-compensation behavior of a steel-steel pair by the use of 3-chloro-2-hydroxy propyl dimmer acid monoester as an additive in liquid paraffin was investigated on an XP friction and wear tester in a ring-on-ring contact configuration. The worn steel surfaces were observed with a digital image processing system and analyzed with an AVATAR-360 Fourier transformation infrared spectrometer to explore the action mechanism of the additive. The results showed that 3-chloro-2-hydroxy propyl dimmer acid monoester as an additive in liquid paraffin led to a negative-wear of the steel-steel frictional pair and hence was capable of causing the wear-self-compensation to the steel-steel pair. This was attributed to the formation of a boundary lubrication film composed of polymerized ester and stearic acid soap on the worn steel surface by way of the tribochemical reaction of the additive on the steel surface. The so-called wear-self-compensation rate of the additive to the steel-steel pair showed some kind of periodical variation with the increase of test duration. The 45# steel as the raw material of the steel-steel pair is used in the friction and wear test.
