The paper chiefly introduces the current status and trend of development of application system in enterprise. It is pointed out that it will be the trend of development of enterprise application that transition from traditional Client/Server to three tier based on Web. According to this trend, Web solution of Sybase is introduced. At last, the paper introduces the method of transition from traditional Client/Server to three tier based on Web. It is significant to protect the resource of PB development and also is a feasible Web solution.
