The paper recommends the problems of chain breakage, flat car deformation, hydraulic take up failure, air leaking, dusty, dust accumulation and low cooling efficiency occurred in first term project of blast belt cooler in No.2 sinter plant in Xiangtan iron and steel company and recommends the innovation in designing the second term blast belt cooler.
