This paper describes the design idea,structure and characteristics of the fault diagnosis test-bed and software on NISSAN MAXIMA car.This test-bed offers an operational platform for the students to test and diagnose the common faults of its electronic control system and the engine performance parameters.The software provides much detailed information for the students in practice and good teaching effect has been showed these years.
