The digitized cam is a system of mechatronic integration which implements the function of cam mechanism by the use of micro-processor and controlling system. The principle of digitized cam and method of implementation are introduced in detail, and a living applicational example of digitized cam is presented. Finally, an analytical contrast is carried out on the characteristics of digitized cam and mechanical cam.
