Hume’s Opinion on the Root of Aesthetic Feeling

休谟认为 ,美不在外物而在人心中 ,它根源于人类心智的特定结构。心智特定结构与客体表象形式之间的同形共构或同情共感关系是审美愉快的真正根源。这便是休谟在美感根源问题上的基本观念。

Hume believed that beauty did not lie in outer objects,but in people’s heart,and originated from the special structure of human’s wisdom;the common-form or common-feeling relation between this structure and the form of object idea constituted the true root of aesthetic delight.All these are Hume's basic concept of root of aesthetic feeling.
