XML已成为Internet数据的表示和交换的标准,这就产生了管理XML数据的新需求,而管理数据是数据库所擅长的,因此将XML和数据库系统结合是一个明智的选择.正是基于此,很多现代关系数据库管理系统对其产品进行扩展以支持XML.介绍了三大关系DBMS(SQLServer2000、Oracle9i、IBMDB2)对XML的支持.
XML has become a standard for the representation and exchange of I nt ernet data. This creates new requirements for data management. XML Database syst ems are well-known for data management. So, the integration of XML and database systems is a wise choice. Based on this, many modern relational DBMS have devel oped tools to make their products XML-enabled. This paper will introduce XML su pport in three relational DBMS(SQL Server 2000,Oracle 9i,IBM DB2).
