本文介绍了喜马拉雅白皮松的生物学、生态学特性及其利用价值和经营管理情况,并对引种的可行性进行了讨论。
Chigoza pine (Pinus gerardiana Wall.) naturally grows in arid mountainous regions in Pakistan and Afghanistan. It has little demand for soil fertility, and is capable of growing on exssively dry, barren hill-side with shallow soil. Its distribution,biology, ecology, usage and management were described and the feasibility for its introduction to China was discussed.
