摘要
中国和日本植物学界早已确认,Ardisia japonica(Thunb.)B1.即我国古代本草书中的“紫金牛”原植物。本文对此提出了异议。经作者考证,古代本草书中“紫金牛”的原植物,当系同属的A.mamillata Hance;而A.japonica(Thunb.)B1,实乃《花镜》中“平地木”的原植物。《植物名实图考》中的“小青”和“短脚三郎”,与古代本草书中的”紫金牛”亦非同物异名;小青的原植物当系A.pusilla A.DC.,短脚三郎的原植物似为A.bre-vicaulis Diesl.
Ardisia japonica (Thunb.)Bl. has been confirmed both in Japan and China as the original plant of 'Zijinniu' described in the ancient Chinese book 'Woody Grosses'. However, according to our textual researches, the original plant of 'Zijinniu' should be Ardisia mamillata Hance, and A. japonica (Thunb.) Bl.should be the original plant of 'Pingdium' described in another ancient Chinese book 'Mirror of Flowers'. The two species of 'Xiaoqing' and 'Duanjiaosan lang' described in the ancient Chinese book 'Plant Names and Their Pictures' are not the same with 'Zijinniu' introduced in the book 'Woody Grosses'.The original plant of 'Xiaoqing' should be A. pusilla A. DC. and 'Duanjiaosan-lang' should be A. brevicaulis Diesl.
