《聊斋志异》中,近五分之二的故事发生的时间设定在日暮或夜晚。蒲松龄在对古人继承的基础上大胆创新,把"夜晚"这一意象的内涵和功能发挥到了极致。本文试从继承性、必然性、神秘性和朦胧美四个方面进行阐释。

Nearly two fiths of the stories in Strang Tales from Lonely Studio took place in the evening or at night.Pu Songling,based on the former styles,gave free rein to the image of 'night',and entrusted it with connotations and functions.This paper aims to make an explanation from four aspects:inheritance,inevitability,mystery and beauty of mysty.
