Adopt a new steam explosion pulping technique, rice straw or wheat straw pulp can be made and used in making high strength corrugated base paper. The breaking length and the ring crush index of the base paper have all exceeded national standard 'A' level. With the new steam explosion pulping technique, the yield of pulp can be increased and the pollutant load can be decreased. The technique affords a new way for rice straw or wheat straw as a raw material in paper industry. It can be popularized in the small scale paper mills located in the regions of produceing rice and wheat.
