摘要
将绘画艺术运用于小说创作 ,这是一种独特的文学现象 ,体现着哈代对现实主义美学原则的深刻理解。文章从哈代创作的绘画艺术入手 ,将《德伯家的苔丝》的细节描述中对绘画手段的运用加以分析 ,阐述绘画艺术的运用所产生的艺术效果以及对作品主题的影响 。
Pictorial art in Thomas Hardy's novels is quite unique as a kind of literary phenomenon which embodies his profound comprehension of the principles of aesthetics.This essay analyses Hardy's pictorial art in detail description in Tess of the D'Urbervilles starting with Hardy's artistry,expounds the artistic impression and the effect on the themes and explores its deep significance.
