摘要
英语阅读教学是旨在培养学生英文阅读理解能力的一项重要教学活动,阅读效率是衡量阅读水平的重要指标,阅读效率=阅读速度×理解率。影响阅读效率的因素主要有:语言知识、背景知识、篇章结构知识、教师的作用、自身兴趣与阅读方法等。本文通过问卷调查的形式统计分析了大学学生在英语阅读过程中存在的影响阅读效率的因素,并根据该数据探讨了如何有效地进行阅读教学。
Teaching reading in English is an important way to foster the students' understanding of the language and reading efficiency is the method to measure the reading levels: reading efficiency=reading speed × understanding. Several elements influences the reading efficiency, such as linguistic knowledge, background knowledge, discourse knowledge, the role of the teacher, self interest, reading skills, etc.
