在当代全球左翼思潮和运动中,生态社会主义影响力逐渐增强,其资本主义批判思想值得关注,其组织的反对资本主义国家和体系的现实运动也成为世界社会主义复兴的重要力量。西方主要发达国家的生态社会主义思潮和运动普遍具有民主社会主义性质,也较多地具有行动主义特征,但在不同的国家具体表现也不同。由于全球生态危机的加重以及资本主义体系处理危机的无能,生态社会主义不断受到马克思主义越来越深的影响和改造,因此,它作为世界社会主义运动的一个组成部分具有较大的发展潜力和空间。但必须明确的是,生态社会主义阵营内部思想倾向、政治派别纷繁复杂,我们要有区别地对其加以认识。

In the contemporary global left-wing trend of thought and movement,the influence of ecological socialism has been gradually increasing.Its critical thinking on capitalism deserves attention,while its real movements against capitalist state and system have also become an important part of the world socialist renaissance.The ecological socialist thoughts and movements in major Western developed countries generally possess the nature of democratic socialism as well as more activist characteristics whose performances vary from country to country.Due to the aggravation of the global ecological crisis and the incompetence of the capitalist system in dealing with the crisis,ecological socialism has been increasingly influenced and transformed by Marxism.Therefore,it has greater development potential as an integral part of the world socialist movement.However,it must be made clear that the ecological socialist camp witnesses various ideological tendencies and political factions,which we must recognize distinguishingly.
