五四运动开辟了中国人民争取自由和解放的道路,顺应了世界潮流和历史潮流。百年来,在五四运动的旗帜下,中国共产党始终践行反对帝国主义、反对封建主义两大历史使命。我们今天之所以仍要高举五四运动这面旗帜,是由于百年来,在世界范围内,帝国主义及封建主义的本质并未发生改变。苏东剧变后,资本在全球范围内掀起了新一轮扩张,这也导致更加难以根除封建思想对人们的影响。因此,我们更应高举五四运动的旗帜,反对帝国主义,防止封建主义复辟。

The May Fourth Movement opened up the road for the Chinese people to fight for freedom and liberation,and conformed to the world trend and historical trend.Over the past 100 years,under the banner of the May Fourth Movement,the CPC has continually practiced the two historical missions of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism.The reason why we still hold high the banner of the May Fourth Movement today is that the essence of imperialism and feudalism has not changed in the past 100 years.The current trend of global capital expansion aggravates,and the influence of feudal thinking is difficult to eradicate.We should continue to complete the two great historical tasks of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism along the path of the May Fourth Movement.
