On the Economic Development Target of Constructing a Well-off Society in China

全面建设小康社会的经济发展目标重点体现在:国内生产总值翻两番;基本实现现代化,实现经济的可持续发展;建设现代农业,增加农民收入。而影响这一目标实现的既有经济因素又有非经济因素,其中经济因素包括技术进步、生产要素的合理配置、产业结构的优化、地区结构的优化、环境保护和对外开放;非经济因素包括社会政治环境、文化状况、教育水平等。

The core of the target to build up a well-off society is: a d oubled-GDP, modernized agriculture and sustainable development. Both economic and non-economic factors can influence the process of reaching this target. The economic factors include technological improvement, rational allocation of production factors, optimizing the industrial structure and regional economic structure, and env ironment protection. And the non-economic factors involve political environment, cultural condition and educational level, etc.
