摘要 1.电子白板的技术背景电子白板是一种多用途的实时交流工具,可以应用于网络视频会议、多媒体实时教学、科研讨论等范畴.电子白板的主要功能是使多人可以进行实时的文字、图形等信息的交流.电子白板是基于可扩展可靠组播协议SRM[1](Scalable Reli-able Multicast Protoco1)开发的,如图1所示为电子白板的设计框架图.其中最低层的就是SRM协议库.该协议库是以U.C.Berkeley的Mash小组开发的SRM lib2为原型,进一步改进开发而成的. The Distributed Electronic Whiteboard is a multicast-based group-communicating tool- As there is no proper congestion control mechanism in the Whiteboard yet, this greatly hampers the more wide application of Whiteboard. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a rate-based multicast congestion control scheme-SRM-NEW for Whiteboard.
