摘要 1.引言近年来,全球Internet以指数的增长速度迅猛发展,成为仅次于电话网的第二大通信基础设施,通信量直逼电话网.音频、视频压缩、实时数据传输技术和网络技术的成熟使在IP网络(Internet、Intranet、LAN)上开展多媒体通信业务成为可能.VoIP技术可以在IP网络上以共享网络带宽的方式提供语音、传真业务,从而拉开了与传统语音业务竞争的序幕.据IDC预测,在往后的2-3年里世界上10%的传真流量将通过互连网;到2002,美国国内以及国际长途电话有11%通过互联网. We present a Rate Adaptation Based Flow Control called RBC. which employs an additive-increase, multi-plicative-decrease(AIMD) algorithm with congestion avoidance. RBC is used for Real-time Transport Protocol, provides end-to-end flow control for real time data stream.
