在当前,重新思考并建构合理的劳动观,在理论上和实践上都是很有必要的。首先,应在劳动是人的本质这一理论基础上,肯定劳动是人的天职;其次,劳动既是人的生命需求,也是人的一种谋生活动;其三,应建立合理而真实的劳动主人意识,同时也应肯定雇佣劳动意识的历史合理性;其四,劳动的差别化发展是历史的进步,但差别不等于等级,应建立劳动平等观;其五,劳动不仅仅是一种艰苦的活动,劳动也包含着快乐的意义。

At present it is both theoretically and practically necessary to rethink and establish our view on labor. First, we need to affirm, on the basis of labor being human nature, that labor is man's bounden duty; Second, labor is an instinct of life and an activity to make a living; Third, we need to establish a rational and true awareness of labor-master, and at the same time the rationality of employed labor should also be recognized; Fourth, the differentiated development of labor is a sign of historical advancement, but differentiation does not equal to hierarchy, therefore an equality view on labor should be established; Fifth, labor is not only a hard activity, it also carries enjoyment.
