汉日拟声拟态词的对比研究——以《聊斋志异·婴宁》的文本为例

The Comparison of Mimetic Words in Chinese and Japanese:A Case Study of the text of Ying Ning in Strange Tales from a Scholar's Studio

以《聊斋志异》中的短篇小说《婴宁》的四个中日文版本为考察对象,对中日文中关于"笑"的拟声拟态词进行对比研究。通过对比发现,虽然文言文原文和中文现代文译文中的"笑"的拟声拟态词在出现数量和形态种类上均少于日语现代文译文中的拟声拟态词,但是汉语通过使用象声词、复合动词、副词等的方式来替代日语的拟声拟态词,发挥了拟声拟态词的作用。同时发现,关于"笑"的拟声拟态词在两个日文译本中的翻译也有出入,体现了翻译的灵活性与特色性。

This paper will compare the mimetic words about laughing from the four Chinese and Japanese versions of the short story Ying Ning in Strange Tales from a Scholar's Studio.Through contrast,I have found that the frequency of'laugh'in classical and modern Chinese version is lower than that in modern Japanese version,but in Chinese the use of mimetic words can be replaced by onomatopoeias,compound verbs,adverbs and so on.My another finding is that the mimetic words about laughing are translated differently in two Japanese versions,reflecting the flexibility and individuality of translation.
