一般认为定语是英语句子的一个基本成分。同一个定语有时可以转换成不同的形式 ,这样不仅能使表达准确通顺 ,而且能使陈述方式变得灵活多样 ,从而避免单调死板的格式。主要从认知语用学的角度论述了英语中同一个定语的不同表达。

Attributive can be regarded as a basic element in English sentence.Sometimes an attributive is to be expressed in different ways so that the narration may be rich or various instead of dull or monotonous on condition that the presentation is accurate and coherent.The present paper illustrates different descriptive forms of an attributive in English according to cognitive pragmatics mainly.
