通过问卷调查 ,了解到理工科学生掌握数学归纳法的状况 ,绝大多数人会用数学归纳法 ,但他们不知道数学归纳法的逻辑基础和逻辑原理 .调查结果启示 :各高校扩大招生 ,地方性院校理工科学生入学时的数学素质降低 ,因此高等数学教学中应高度重视此状况 ;做好高等数学教学与中学数学教学衔接工作 ;高等数学教学中应进行系统的数学方法理论教育 ;给学生介绍数学方法发展的来龙去脉及其在科学研究与实践中的作用 .

After questionary,the circumstance of college students of science and engineering mastering the mathematical induction is obtained:many students knew how to use the mathematical induction,but they didn't know its logical basis and logical theory.Suggestions:Because of enrolling more and more new college students,the mathematical quanlity of college students in the localities is lower,we must take the matter seriously;The teachers must pay attention to link up the mathematical teaching of colleges to that of middle schools;Then let the students know the theorical basis of the mathematical methods and introduce the development of mathematical methods and its function in the scientific research.
