Mongolian Heaven Worship and the Cultural Revitalization: A Case Study of Arinoshot of Inner Mongolia

本文详细考察内蒙古阿来乌苏浩特祭天活动过程 ,认为该地两种不同类型祭天活动分别源于过去祭祀“永恒的天”及萨满教的祓除 ;祭祀活动功能从过去的寻求宏观秩序转变为现今的“文化再活性化”

The paper examines the detailed process of Heaven Worship in Arinoshot Inner Mongolia. The paper argues that two kinds of existing Heaven Worship separately originated from the worship of 'Eternal Heaven' and magic function associated with Shamanism. Nevertheless, the Heaven Worship now has transferred from the function of maintaining harmony of macro world to 'cultural revitalization.
