Terms of a contract required us to introduce Bondner Partom(B P) material model into commercial software MARC. In order to achieve this required introduction,we, in subsection 1.2, combined B P material model with equivalent stress function method and derived eqs.(5) through (14). Section 2 gives the FEM(Finite Element Method) calculation model for a V notched high temperature Chinese GH536 alloy steel specimen.Section 3 gives the calculated results,shown in Figs.3, 4, and 5 and obtained with commercial software MARC;these calculated results show that stress relaxation exists at notch when the specimen is subjected to axial cyclic tensile loading; in other words,non elastic strain increases with time and finally leads to failure of specimen.
