Maxine Hong Kingston(TANG Ting-ting)is a Chinese American writer who has been always for the purpose of stylistic innovation. This paper based on its general stylistic analysis on its postmodern features explores the paper's unique and innovative characteristics. First of all, it has great impact on foreign languages teaching and moreover it can utilize stylistic methods to enrich foreign languages teaching. Then it can cultivate students' ability to analyze a text with their interdisciplinary and stylistic knowledge. Meantime, it expands the scope of teachers and students in appreciation on Chinese American literature. Finally, it can put the experience and advantages of the stylistic analysis on literary texts into the references of other kinds of texts.
