本文对《西部蒙古论坛》就2004年后六年间所发表的论文做了中肯的点评,对研究方法及方法创新的进展给予了充分的肯定,并分析了存在的问题和不足,对该刊今后的发展也提出了一些探讨性的看法。

The article appraised thesis of Western Mongolian Studies published during six years after 2004,affirmed its research method and progress of new ideas,and analyzed problems.The author put forward exploratory proposals to the journal.
