《明史·西域传》之八答黑商辨误二则

The Differentiate and Analysis of Some Questiones About the Badakshan recorded in Ming Shi

通过对《明史·西域传》之八答黑商条内容进行辨析,本文认为:首先,《明史·西域传》把"八刺黑"误作"八答黑商",将两者混为一谈。永乐十二年(1414年)陈诚一行出使西域诸国时,并未到过八答黑商城。《明史·西域传》称"十二年,陈诚使其国",有误。其次,永乐十八年,陈诚同郭敬也并未出使八答黑商。《明史·八答黑商传》称"十八年,遣使来贡,命诚及内官郭敬赍书币往报",亦误。

Based on Travel to the Western Regions and Records of the Western Countries,The Collection Essays of Mr.Zhu Shan,the article will systematically discuss about the Badakshan recorded in Ming Shi.First of all,Ming Shi had mistook Bahlika for Badakshan.In the 12 th year of Yong Le reign of Ming Dynasty(1414),Chen Cheng served as an envoy to the Western Regions,but he did not have the mission to Badakshan.Therefore,it is wrong for Ming Shi to say that Chen Cheng went to Badakshan in that year.In addition,in the 18 th year of Yong Le reign of Ming Dynasty,Chen Cheng also did not went to Badakshan.
