Several Issues of the Karens(Frontier Sentries) in Kobdo in the Qing Dynasty

科布多地区的卡伦在清代北疆治边和边防中占据重要的地位,因此,该问题的研究得到学术界的关注,并就相关问题曾引起过争议。本文以嘉道时期为中心,剖析清代科布多地区卡伦的设置及变迁、卡伦弁兵的来源、驻卡差役的摊派及其相关制度,为清代北疆史相关问题的研究提供一些线索。

The karens(frontier sentries) in Kobdo occupied a significant position in the frontier administration of norther China in the Qing Dynasty,so the study of this subject attracts the attention of academic circles and there has been some disputes on relevant issues.Focused on the reign of Jiaqing and Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty,the article makes an analysis of the establishment of karens in Hovd area in the Qing Dynasty and their vicissitude,the source of the soldiers stationed there,corvee allotment for garrison and relevant arrangements,provides clues to the study of the history of northern Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty.
