通过对古代蒙古族婚姻家庭习惯和习惯法的整理,归纳了古代蒙古族婚姻家庭习惯和习惯法的原则性规则,具体包括族外婚制、男权中心、一夫多妻制和父辈主婚等原则;同时整理考察了古代蒙古族的主要婚姻形式,主要包括掠夺婚、聘娶婚、收继婚、抱斧婚等形式;并在此基础上分析了古代蒙古族婚姻家庭习惯的民族性和宗法性等特征。为对蒙古族婚姻家庭习惯的历史变迁和现代梳理等进一步研究打下良好的基础。

This article summarized the principle rules of marriage customs and the customary law of ancient Mongols through collecting their ancient customs and customary law,including the principles of clan exogamy,patriarchal,polygamy and parents—arrange system.At the same time,it collected and examined the major marriage forms of ancient Mongol which are plunder marriage,marriage,levirate marriage,holding axes and so on,and besides,analyzed the religious and ethnic features of ancient Mongol's family marriage habits in order to set up a foundation for further study the historical and modern changes of Mongol's family marriage habits.
