During the Obama administration,cybersecurity has become an outstanding issue in Sino-U.S.relations.Since Donald Trump took office as president,Trump administration has issued an executive order on cybersecurity,and released the National Security Strategy and the DHS Cybersecurity Strategy,showing that Trump’s cyber policies have become clear.In recent years,with releasing cybersecurity law and national cybersecurity strategy,the Chinese government has accumulated more experience in cybersecurity governance.Both sides’ new policies on cybersecurity will pave way for bilateral negotiations in the future.At the conceptual level,"Common Destiny for Human Beings"provides theoretical support for Sino-U.S.further dialogue,but bilateral negotiations on the cognition of core concepts will be a long process.On the practical level,the"Enforcement and Cybersecurity Dialogue"is an innovative mechanism for the two countries to promote cooperation in this area.If bilateral cooperation on cyber infrastructure is promoted persistently,both sides will achieve large political and economic benefits.To conclude,the long-term goal of cybersecurity cooperation in the Trump’s era lies in promoting mutualrecognized norms in the field,which leads the development of global cyberspace governance in the direction for benefiting all mankind.
