This paper introduces the heated debates over the recently released Advanced Placement U.S.History(APUSH)frameworks in the United States among different groups concerning a more sanitized view of American history.By examining the intertwining and dynamic relationships among nationalism, historical perceptions and party politics in today’s American society, this paper reveals the new trend of nationalism that seeks to instill patriotic spirit into the young people through history education.
