摘要
牡丹笠圆盾蚧(Quadraspidiotus paeonicoi sp.nov),系1987年作者在牡丹上采得的蚧虫,经鉴定为一新种。1988～1990年作者对该蚧的分布及为害进行了调查,并初步观察研究了其形态特征、生活史、生活习性、生殖特性、发生与环境关系、天敌情况,并提出了相应的防治措施。
A new scale insect was found on Pacania suffruticosa Andr.in
1987 and was named Quadraspidiotus Paeonicoi sp.nov.From 1988 to 1990
the authars investigated its distribution and the symptoms and seriousness of
its harmfulness.Further research included its life history,life habits,mor-
phological and reproductive character,relation between the generat and hab-
itant,etc.Some suggestions of control measures were also given.
