阐述该规程修订时所确定的丰富内容、提高技术水平、扩大适用范围、加强可操作性的原则、指导思想和与国际先进同类规范接轨的目标 ;全面介绍该规程修订本在总则、基本规定、材料、焊接节点构造、焊接工艺评定、焊接工艺、焊接质量检查、焊接补强与加固、焊工考试各章中的主要技术内容以及规程的适用范围 ;指出该规程作为对钢结构施工和质量验收等规范的补充、配套和深化 ,其实用性及其对保证建筑钢结构工程施工质量的重要作用。
