Watching plays became a social and popular activity in the Elizabethan age.Shakespeare's works have the characteristics of mass culture.In the paper,from the different aspects of the principles of representation of art,ideas of Elizabethan age,and psychological analysis,the writer tries to do some research on how humanism is affirmed and traditional ideas that restrained human spirit and extremely selfish Machiavellian are negated through the descriptions of different relationships between men and women in Shakespeare's works in order to carry out its education function.
