陈独秀二次革命论第一次规定中国革命必须分两个阶段依次进行。这种认定为毛泽东两步走思想的提出奠定了基础。在两个革命如何衔接,特别是现阶段民主革命的主要动力及领导阶级方面,二次革命论存在着认识上的不足与缺陷。从中国共产党思想发展史的角度看,两步走思想是在对二次革命论批判性的继承中逐渐形成的。

CHEN Duxiu's Revolution Theory in Twice revealed that Chinese Revolution should go on in two periods for the first time revolution. It laid a foundation for TwoStep Actions. There existed shortcomings in understanding how to join the two actions together, especially the main motivation and leading class of the democratic revolution in the first period. From the view of the developing history of Chinese Communist Party's thoughts, MAO Zedong's TwoStep Actions gradually formed on the critical basis of carrying forward CHEN's theory.
