In order to reduce the cost consequences of development, resolve social contradictions,and promote social harmony and progress, the theories and practices of social construction came into being. Since the reform and opening-up, especially after entering twenty-first Century, China has paid more attention to social construction on the basis of economic development, and has initially formed a good situation: the coordinated development of economy and society. We should careful summarize the experiences of social construction, and adhere to the principle of combining social construction with the social core values construction, to further enhance the social construction to social civilization, to vigorously promote the unity of social structure order and social values order, to promote the harmonious development of socialist material civilization, political civilization, spiritual civilization and social civilization, and finally, to make greater contribution to human civilization.
