The First German Edition of Capital, Vol.I and Its New Chinese Version

《资本论》是马克思倾尽毕生精力完成的宏篇巨著,为马克思主义理论的研究奠定了牢固的科学基础和理论依据。1867年,《资本论》第1卷德文第1版在德国汉堡正式出版。它的基本思想和基本原理,历经一个半世纪,经久不衰,在人类思想史上不断创造着奇迹。今年是《资本论》正式出版150周年,值此之际,中央编译局推出了《马克思恩格斯全集》中文第2版第42卷(《资本论》第1卷德文第1版)和第43卷(《资本论》第1卷法文版)。第42卷以《资本论》第1卷1867年德文版为底本,同时参考收录该版的《马克思恩格斯全集》历史考证版(MEGA)第2部分第5卷,而MEGA共收录《资本论》第1卷的6个不同版本。《马克思恩格斯全集》中文第2版在收入《资本论》第1卷德文第1版时,对该版1987年以单行本形式印行的中译文作了全面仔细的修订,并编写了翔实可靠的资料。

Capital is the masterpiece that Marx devoted his life to, and laid a solid scientific foundation and theoretical basis for Marxist theory. In 1867, the first German edition of the first volume of Capital was officially published in Hamburg, Germany. Its basic thought and basic principle, enduring through a century and a half, have been constantly creating miracles in the history of human thought. This year marks the 150 th anniversary of the official publication of Capital. On this occasion, the Central Compilation &Translation Bureau has launched the second Chinese edition of Collected Works of Marx and Engels Vol. 42(the first German edition of the first volume of Capital)and Vol. 43(the French edition of the first volume Capital). The Vol.42 is based on the first German edition of the first volume of Capital, and also refers to volume 5 of the second part of MEGA(Marx/Engels Gesamtausgabe). MEGA published six versions of the first volume of Capital. The Chinese version of the first German edition of the first volume of Capital was published in 1987 in the form of a booklet. The Vol.42 has made a thorough and detailed revision of the translation of the booklet, in addition, it has also added detailed and reliable apparatuses.
