摘要
韩愈在《答刘秀才论史书》中 ,提出“作史者不有人祸 ,必有天刑”的说法 ,历为人所诟病。考察《顺宗实录》,可以确知这并非韩愈自己的修史态度 ,更并未因此在与柳宗元的友情上投下阴影。此书实为处于唐代史馆与政权核心密切结合、原始材料不俱可信的尴尬境地中的愤激之言 ;同时 ,亦体现出韩文风格中好发骇人之论的一面。
Historiographer will be published either by man or by heaven' was a statement put forward by Han Yu in Answering Liu xiucai and Discussing Historical Records, which was always criticized in history. But by surveying The Annals of Shun Emperor, we knew that this was not Han Yu's true attitude. This article actually reflected the close combination between govemment and office of historiographer in Tang Dynasty, which also led to the uncertainty of primary data.
