The New Tendency of the Reform of Teacher Education in America and Britain——From the Perspectives of New Liberalism and New Traditionalism

在教师教育领域,以市场为基础的方法正在向国际发展,与此伴随的是教育统一化和权力的集中化,二者凌驾于教师知识和技能之上。不论是以市场为指导的教师教育方法还是传统的标准化方法,都难以保证它们在学校中发挥预期作用,因此必须实事求是地分析教育领域的总体动态。目前在欧美流行的新自由主义和新传统主义对上述问题提出了各自的思考。

In the field of teacher education,the market-based method is developing as an internation-al one.Along with it is the unification of education and centralization of power,which are overrid ing teach ers’knowledge and skills.Neither of the market-based method for teacher education nor the tradi -tional standard method can ensure its expected role in schools.To this difficult situation,New Lib eralism and New Traditionalism which are prevailing over in America and Britain are providing their own reflec-tions.
