This paper introduces the system, mechanism, service scope and operation of rear-service of colleges and universities in Britain and Germany, and compares them with the reform of rear-service socialization of colleges and universities in China. It proposes that it is beneficial for the deepening of the reform of rear-service of colleges and universities and the promotion of development of higher education in China to use the experience of rear-service management in developed countries.
