This paper introduces the dispute resolving procedure of the contrasts and analyses the differences and the similarties between them. It summarizes the essence of the mechanism of resolving the contract from new and old red book of the FIDIC. It establishes the basis for the supervising engineers to study the FIDIC contract items and understand the international rules.
