摘要
英语写作课具有集阅读、集体讨论、形成书面个人见解于一体的可行性 ,也具有综合培养学生的外语交际能力及各种关键的人才素质 (参与意识、创新意识、进取精神、实证精神、思辨能力、独立解决重大问题的能力 )的可能性。作为外语教学素质教育的重要一环 ,英语写作课应当针对已经变化了的学生对象和社会需求重新定位本课程的目标和教学方法 ,并通过实施过程教学法来培养学生具备相关的素质和能力。
It is feasible to combine reading, group discussion and writing to express personal views in the English writing course; it is also possible to cultivate both the students' communicative competence in a foreign language and the pivotal qualities in active participation, innovation, initiative, research, critical evaluation and independent decision making for talented language majors. As an important link in promoting quality education in foreign language teaching, the English writing course should reorient its course objectives and teaching approaches in accordance with the already changed student types and the requirements of the society and train the students to have related qualities by adopting the process focused approach.
