本文以彝语地名的汉文译写形式为研究对象,剖析了汉文译写时经常采用的三种翻译办法及其派生 形式。从中揭示出彝语方言、汉语方言乃至翻译时的社会历史背景对译名定型的影响,以利相关学科 的学者发掘利用彝语地名这一综合性的人文资料。

This paper explores the writing of Yi language places in Chinese characters, and points out three modes of translation in Chinese characters and their derivatives. The writer attempts to analyze the impacts of Yi dialects, Chinese dialects and social or historical backgrounds on translated names. Hopefully , this can serve as a guide for researchers concerned.
