摘要
基因序列拼装是分子生物研究的重要环节之一。随着DNA序列的快速增长,如何提高基因序列拼装的速度,成为当前基因组研究的重要问题。为充分利用SMP以及集群的资源,在找出Phrap程序的瓶颈后,分别在SUNEnterprise3500及集群上将串行的Phrap程序进行了并行化。论文论述实现并行拼接程序的机理和性能。
Gene sequences asse mb ly plays a vital role in molecular biology research.As the amount of DNA data in-creases rapidly,how to improve the speed of sequence assembly becomes a ke y topic in genomics research community.In order to utilize the resource of SMP and cluster fully,after finding the bottleneck of the performance of Phrap,th e authors have developed a parallel assemble program on sun Enterprise3500an d cluster respectively through assigning tasks to different processors.This pa per describes the implementation and the performance of it.
