By analyzing unified messaging,this paper indic at es that mail notifying system completes the communication-initiate function of traditional e-mail.It then gives the parameters that constrain the performance of a mail notifying sys-tem.Some key design issues are analyzed and it's ill ustrated how to implement a high performance mail notifying system.
