摘要
In this paper, the anthor reveals the positive effects of the Chinese character by describing the course of some Sanskritic transliterated words being assimilated to Chinese, such as"NFDD7"?"塔"?"玻璃"?"和尚"in early Chinese translation of Sutras. And on the basis of it the author enucleates ulteriorly a certain regulation that the Chinese must holds to when it absorbs exotic words, that is when we transliterate exotic words, we should pay attention to choosing graphemes to make the transliterated words not only have the exact transliteration relations with the original words, but also satisfy Chinese people’s sublimial mentalities of seeking words’ original sources.
