现代文学的发展恰恰是以叙事的"不确定性"增多为特征的。对德国作家君特·格拉斯《铁皮鼓》中各种不同的"不确定性"形式的考察与分析,可以发现"不确定性"构成了格拉斯在《铁皮鼓》中的基本叙述策略之一,其作用在于达到间离效应,防止甚至拒绝读者对人物进行简单认同,迫使读者走出叙述者的评判,不断质疑并最终构建文本意义,从而达到批判接受的效果。

The development of modern literature features an increase of narrative 'uncertainties'. Through an analysis of the various forms of 'uncertainty' in Die Blechtrommel by the German writer Guenter Grass, this article reveals that 'uncertainty' is employed by Guenter Grass as a basic narrative strategy to achieve the effect of distance. The existence of 'uncertainty' prevents readers from simply identifying themselves with characters while compelling them to cast incessant doubts and eventually reconstruct the meaning of text without the interference of a narrator's evaluation. A critical acceptance could be thus realized.
